Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

? Assist the business and provide solutions in managing the quality and ethical standard of China suppliers mainly working with medical device manufacturer, such as plasters, tapes, bandages first aid kits, electronic thermometers.

? Have to work closely with suppliers quality manager /HR manager/ISO specialist or senior management to assist suppliers maintain and improve to the customers quality requirement including ISO13485/BRC/TESCO other customer own standard or any quality audits

? Work with 3rd party like SGS /TUV/ITS/UL to book audits/tests/coordinate any technical problems

? Conduct regular suppliers visit to do internal audits and communication with factory management people follow up technical matters and report back to UK any issues

? Conduct pre-audit against various standard at suppliers

? Attend 2nd and 3rd party audits at suppliers observing audits/learning and ensure suppliers’ problems are understood

? Technical assist suppliers on standard reading /translating/training/answer all questions relating to technical

? Follow up audit close out or any technical issues

? Involve in NPD ( new product development )

? Handle product quality issues

? Assist China Day to Day team ( another team) where needed – very little

? Answer UK technical questions and provide documents and reports

Qualifications and Requirements:

? At least 3 years working experience in quality or factory manage in suppliers or foreign trade company and have a science background with medical device/food industry/cosmetic knowledge

? Domenstrated experiences such as ISO13485, QSR820, ISO9001 ,BRC or equivalent

? Experience with managing UK retailers standard independently is preferred such as TESCO ,Sainsbury ,ASDA,Morrisons, Walmart

? Good English reading and speaking /CET-6 or equivalent

? Good communication and time managing /fast responding /proactive /passionate

? Hardworking and can work flexible hours sometimes

? Quick learner , slef-displinary and can work under pressure
