Position Title: Supplier Quality Engineer

Reports to: Quality Manager

Location: Shanghai, China

Execute product quality assurance process associated with suppliers to meet quality requirements from GBU. Be responsible for supplier quality performance improvement, and drive the continuous improvement of existing suppliers. Provide support to new product development as the representative of quality team.

• Follow the NPD process, work with Sourcing/R&D/program team/supplier to deliver successful PPAP
• Work with US team/suppliers to clarify customer complaints, drive the 8D report to identify root cause, develop and verify improvement actions
• Work with supplier to effectively close APAC rejection CAR.
• Perform regular supplier QMS audit, Process audit and inspection, drive continuous improvement
• Define Product audit plan, train supplier
• Monitor and report regular supplier quality metrics, control COF

• Bachelor degree in mechanics, engineer or related area
• 3-5 years' experience on manufacture process, including plastic extrusion, tooling, stamping, polishing, injection and plating, etc.
• Sound knowledge in safety standards and product compliance requirements
• Knowledge of APQP/PPAP/FMEA/Control plan/MSA/Error-proof/DFM/ISO9000 Audit
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Reading technical drawing
• Frequent travel is required
