The Job:
- New Supplier Research.
- Supplier factory inspections (Mostly South China but sometimes East China).
- Supplier relationship building.
- Managing our quality and communication expectations from suppliers and setting up a mid production inspection process with each supplier.
- Working with our UK team to identify and replace current bad suppliers with new good ones.
- Requesting regular new product styles/ new material options from existing suppliers regularly (each month) - new catalogues to be added to supplier folders
- Production inspections for all live production orders (During the production and at the end of production)
- Sample checking on behalf of the UK team to do "China side checking". Ensuring samples align with the sample briefs prepared by the UK PMs. Sharing feedback to UK PMs (inc. Images and Videos) of samples received. Arranging shipment of samples via DHL to the UK PMs.
- Supporting UK based Project Managers with MAJOR / BIG / MORE COMPLICATED projects.
- Arranging China side Product Photography of all newly developed products - using our Shenzhen based photographer

Skills Needed:
- Excellent Written and Speaking English
- Very good numeracy and MS Excel Skills
- Great IT skills (eg. browsing internet, powerpoint, using English version of Windows)
- Excellent care for details
- Great Team player
- Very nice personality and easy to work with
- Able to work under pressure easily without getting too stressed
- 3-5 years sourcing / working for factory in a beauty bags or beauty accessories factory
- Really passionate about Beauty and Lifestyle Trends/ Colours/ Styles of products
- Happy to Travel around China to factories 2-3 times per week
