Our offer

We will give you the opportunity to gain experience in a vibrant multinational Bio-Pharmaceutical company in the heart of Copenhagen focusing research on drug discovery: we are looking for a student worker with high availability to support the parallel chemistry group with:

• Find compound from our large sample bank
• Weighting of compounds
• Making solutions
• Aliquotation of compounds
• Punch aliquots
• Shipment of research material between two Amgen DK sites
• Making buffers
• Other daily laboratory tasks  

You will be working as a support of the parallel chemistry group but within our student group of 17 student workers with different scientific backgrounds. All students are within their second to last year of a university degree within natural sciences.

We are looking for a student who has the possibility to work 32 h per week for a minimum of 6 months and preferably a longer period. The primary working location will be Rønnegade 8, 2100 Copenhagen Ø, secondary location is Symbion on Fruebjergvej 3, 2400 Copenhagen NV.

We are looking for…

The successful candidate is diligent in their work, knows the importance of precision in following lab protocols and can take ownership of their work. The person will communicate and collaborate actively with scientists, both within chemistry and biology as well as with the student group.

We are looking for a student majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy or within a similar field and with a strong interest in chemistry. We are interested in applications from all levels of students from a medium or long education within natural sciences.

Good knowledge of verbal and written English is a must.
