岗位职责:
Student Administration Officer

General Description
To support the Manager for Student Administration Services in the area of managing student records and associated administrative processes. To perform a variety of specialized duties that involve student record maintenance in the student information system (SITS) the Virtual Learning Environment (ICE), managing student registration status in SITS as well as government platforms, processing student progression and award, production of student degree certificates etc.

Main Responsibility and Accountability
Your main duties are:
To assist team leader in all aspects relating to the student records management and the associated student administration processes, including
Processing new student enrolment in SITS and liaising with other administrative offices to support new student registration with the university
Supporting student annual registration, and managing registration status change (registration deferral, suspension, resumption, withdrawal, etc.)
Managing student programme enrolment and transfer
Processing module results, progression and awards
Clearing students for graduation
To maintain and update student registration data in both SITS and government platforms, and be responsible for timely exchange of such information with partner institutions and relevant administrative offices across the university.
To operate Module Questionnaire (MQ) software, assist with data collection, analysis, and dissemination of the end-of-semester module evaluation, and respond to related queries
To input and maintain accurate module enrolment data on the ICE system and respond to any student queries regarding ICE
To collaborate with Student Academic Services Team of Registry in production and distribution of degree certificates, academic transcripts and scholarship certificates etc. to students, and to assist Jiangsu Department of Education in arranging student taking photos for graduation certificates and degrees
To maintain and update accurate student academic records in SITS and prepare data spreadsheet as required by University committees and relevant stakeholders, for example, preparation of student progression data for the Boards of Examiners, preparation of student marks data to support student applications for 2+2 articulation to UoL or other study abroad programmes, etc.
Other responsibilities, suitable to the position, as assigned by Manager for Student Administration Services, or Head/Deputy Head of Registry.

Position Qualification Requirement
Essential:
Bachelor degree plus 2 years of work experience, or Master’s degree
Excellent oral and written skills in English
Excellent communication skills
Experience in data or records management
Ability to maintain high level of accuracy
Commitment to service and collaboration
Desirable:
Experience of working within a Higher Education environment
Experience of working in an international organization
Experience in the operation or management of a student records system
