Our offer

We will give you the opportunity to gain experience in a vibrant multinational Bio-Pharmaceutical company in the heart of Copenhagen focusing research on drug discovery: we are now looking for a student worker that can support us with:

- Daily laboratory tasks

- Shipment of compounds and materials between our two sites at Østerbro

- Quality control

- Making stock solutions, samples and buffers for in-house scientists

- Compound management: registration and maintenance of our large sample bank

You will primarily be working from our site at Symbion within a group of three other student workers. At Amgen Research Copenhagen, also including our Rønnegade site, we in total have 19 students with different scientific backgrounds and tasks hereafter. All students are within their second to last year of a university degree within natural sciences. We offer a flexible working time of 10-15h per week.

We are looking for…

The successful candidate is diligent in their work, knows the importance of precision in following lab protocols and can take ownership of their work. We are looking for students majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy or within a similar field and with strong interest in chemistry.

Good knowledge of verbal and written English is a must. 
We are interested in applications from both pre-final and final year students, from both bachelor’s and master’s studies.
