Find out more about the Digital world of Siemens here: www.siemens.com/careers/digitalminds Position Overview: We are seeking a Strategic Program Manager responsible for building program management capabilities and adoption of Siemens Xcelerator strategic objectives solutions across segments and strategic business partners. You will be responsible for driving collaboration with market segments and key strategic programs. Your responsibilities will include supporting business, GTM, and technical relationships with program teams. You will work with cross functional teams to create and execute on strategic business plans, inclusive of change management, capability development, and marketing to execute achievement against key results and metrics. Essential Functions: You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges, with the ability to convey compelling value propositions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong project and program management background along with an understanding of all the elements that are required to enable strategy execution results. This role is senior in nature and will bring a collaborative approach to enabling consistent programs execution: • Owns program and project management excellence outcomes • Aligns and drives Siemens’ stakeholders to achieve the goals of the strategy plan • Build overall high-level program plans based on multiple technical and non-technical project plans, manage issues and risks, conduct executive business review meetings and communication/OKR reporting for the Transformation program o Plan, create standardized reporting, performance metrics, and operational process optimization o Bring the exploration mindset needed to understand and support for merger and acquisition related programs o Drive and provide business insights for deep dives in annual and quarterly business reviews. • The role should have the background (project management, change management, enterprise IT delivery or tech consulting) to understand how technical issues, risks arising from migration or modernization efforts impact the business goals of the overall program, roll up high-level project plans into overall program roadmap, review and approve funding for technical projects that achieve the business/partnership goals • Ideally 8+ years exp in Program/Project Management and/or experience working with SIs/GSIs/ Consulting Companies, or ISVs • The ideal candidate has both a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level, and a technical background that enables them to easily interact with segments and program teams • work with cross functional teams to create and execute on strategic business plans, inclusive of enablement, practice development, and marketing, to execute achievement against strategic goals. Skills and Abilities Required: • Strong leadership and coalition building skills in a highly dynamic and fluid working environment; including cross-group collaboration, clear communications, and the ability to influence without direct control • Analytical tendencies with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate to develop scalable programs outcomes • Negotiation and issue resolution capabilities • Maximize impact of resources and orchestrate engagement and alignment of global resources invested in strategy and programs work • Demonstrated ability to get things done, build consensus, resolve conflict, and solve tough business problems, working in concert with others • High levels of written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment • A keen sense of ownership, drive, and execution • Knowledge of PLM and/or Siemens Digital Industries Software strategy and product portfolio desired Education and Experience Requirement: • Prior experience working with products, SaaS solutions, services, and strategy desired • The right person will be both strategic and tactical, possessing 8+ years of business management, strategy execution, acquisitions, analytics, and program/product management experience. • Experience with managing horizontally • Very strong written, oral, and social communication skills • Strong ability to influence without direct control • Degree required.
