We constantly improve our technical foundation and user experience. As a Senior UX Designer in International Tech, you’ll have huge impact on how customers interact with Amazon. This role will invent and design new mobile app customer experiences which link all of the context about who a customer is, where a customer is, and what they are interested in. With millions of active users, and top-rated apps on all major platforms, you will have a significant impact on our growing business. You will work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, executives, and other designers—seeing and championing design throughout product planning and development life-cycle.

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer who can:

• Fluency in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design processes, and a strong knowledge of UX principles and techniques.
• Create user flows, wire-frames, prototypes, high fidelity mockups, and detailed UI and visual design specifications (redlines) for Mobile App interfaces.
• Draw on depth of experience, but initiate UX research and testing efforts when necessary
• Conduct analyses of real usage data to inform UX optimization efforts
• Drive root cause analyses to respond to UX performance issues
• Partner with product management and development, championing the creation of user-centered designs by considering market analysis, customer feedback, professional expertise, metrics, and usability findings
• Present design work to the product team, engineering team, business stakeholders and executives for review and feedback.
