We are looking to hire highly motivated, innovated, best-in-class Network Engineers for our Network & IOT team to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks, digital factory and industry 4.0 to discover innovative ways to automate and scale our network and internet of things as we expand.

Key Responsibilities

To be as a service owner to define and maintain the network related service architectures including performance, stability, sustainability by using intelligent method and automation

Plan, Design and Implement as well as support potential solutions for corporate networking based upon customer driven requirements and forecast of technical trends

For IOT realization to provide technical solution in production, sales, quality control, logistics, purchasing, finance areas

Ensure that BMW Group standards are deployed and maintained in this specific technology

Use the relevant IT standard processes as defined within QMP (Quality management process)

Specify, procure and manage external support contracts for network related devices and service

Align Service Level Agreements with business department, define the requirements with suppliers and steer the suppliers

Provide operational support on a daily basis, e.g. networking performance monitoring and network fault trouble shooting

Identify and resolve problems through use of technical tools and application of skills and experience. (Second level support)

Delivery problem resolution and document problems and status’s via the Remedy management tool

Identify, implement and support potential solutions for network technologies, based upon customer driven requirements

Identify, implement and support potential solutions for IOT, based upon new technology trends and customer driven requirements

Design, build and implement IOT professional service, Application API, IOT platform, IOT communication technologies IOT sensors and cyber security of IOT

Other contingent tasks and projects assigned by line manager

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Information Technology or similar qualification although experience and proven delivery capability is just as relevant

Knowledge of Routing and switch technology, LAN and WLAN architecture

Knowledge of network security, Datacenter network architecture, collaboration network, and other popular network technologies

Knowledge of CISCO, aruba, H3C, bluecoat, TP point products

Knowledge of collaboration related skill like Lync, IPT, VC

Knowledge of IOT communication technologies like LORA, NB-IOT, SRT, UWB and LTE

Knowledge of IOT platform technologies

Knowledge of IOT application API standard and technologies

Knowledge of Shell, Python, SQL, Java, HTML5 and other coding language

Project management skills

ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) management process skills

Agile and Devops knowledge and skills

Understanding of the principles of information management as a management technique to enable organizational development

Fluent English speaking & writing

Leadership and planning skills

Good communication skills and user expectation management, Superior communication and relationship building skills

Analytical mind, problem solver

Experience with IT Infrastructure 1-3 Years

Experience with LAN, WLAN, WAN and network security 4-6 Years

Experience with Coding (Shell, Python, SQL, java, html5 and etc.) design, administration and maintenance 4-6 Years

Experience with IT service management 1-3 Years

Experience in JV or foreign company 1-3 Years

Experience in manufacture enterprise is preferred 1-3 Years

Experience with IT service management 1-3 Years

Experience in internet of things and IPV6 1-3 Years

Experience in digital factory and industry 4.0 is preferred 1-3 Years

Experience of cabling system design, construction, operation and quality assurance 1-3 Years
