How will you make an impact?

We are looking for a motivated, creative and forward-thinking individual to lead and individually contribute to multiple, cross-functional projects to help drive consistent and efficient execution of Telephony service and support efforts. This will include supporting our group partners to continue to drive the best in class Service and Support organization. This position plays a key role in driving the strategy of our service delivery program forward by delivering cost reduction, cost avoidance, and overall savings and ROI.

What will you do?

  • Lead and coordinate ongoing and regular cadenced projects
  • Act as project champion and “general manager,” leading multiple projects to optimize our theme “Digital transformation of Telephony” and improve team’s success towards our key performance indicators.
  • Responsible for all day-to-day operational aspects of projects, applying best practices & standards of project management to deliver on commitments.
  • Define and prioritize new projects to help accelerate success and efficiency of our business.
  • Identify business needs, scope and convert program requirements to executable deliverables; develop and help maintain project plans and schedules.
  • Work closely with group business partners to ensure that global projects and processes account for division considerations and help drive business success.
  • Coordinate with management in utilizing the asset management tools to analyze, review and track asset data.
  • Support asset management team in the tracking, auditing and reporting of Telephony Devices and data circuits.
  • Assist in inventory management, procurement and shipment activities.
  • Work with purchasing to execute process and resolve purchasing issues.
  • Participate in contract negotiation, contract renewals and vendor management activities.
  • Analyze Telephony invoices inclusive of tracking, reviewing, auditing, and optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with management to define cost savings, asset compliances and service improvements.
  • Provide constant feedback on savings opportunities and best practices in Telephony Management
  • Establish and maintain 100% Telephony inventory integrity.
  • Participate in preparing asset capital and expense budgets.

How will you get here?

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Understanding of invoice, allocation, organizational hierarchy in relation to accounting practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage outside vendors and contractors for service delivery; able to ensure work is delivered on time, to standard and within budget.
  • Basic knowledge of telecommunications services and networks (voice, data, mobile, unified communications)
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents and present oral presentations to senior/executive management.
  • Must be able to work effectively with a diverse technical and business staff outside of his/her own organization to achieve goals.
  • Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions.
  • Experience with technical, asset management, or inventory experience with large-scale enterprise/global networks in a high paced diverse environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology management or other technical field is desired, though direct and applicable professional experience in relevant processes, technologies, tools, and techniques will be considered for substitution
  • The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of broad IT leadership experience with global enterprises. Deep consulting and value management background is highly desirable.

  • Strong capabilities in managing hybrid teams, key IT vendors and external delivery partners
  • Value based and outcome driven consulting expertise
