DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, organize, and coordinate the quality activities for the assigned Bissell product /PCBA manufacturing locations. May write, revise and verify quality standards and procedures for electronics products and suppliers manufacture quality management.
• Reviews new or modified programs and procedures including documentation, diagrams and flow charts to determine if the program will perform according to request and conform to standard
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional product development teams, manufacturing partners and key suppliers to determine product engagement including PFMEA, Quality Plan, WI, inspection requirement etc. Ensure that all new or revised components or products use the Bissell APQP / PPAP process to document the approval of their introduction or revision with supplier sites. Conduct final Inspection as necessary.
• Monitor suppliers ongoing product quality performance and quality plan compliance and initiate continuous improvement activities in order to achieve / exceed the defined Supplier Quality Metrics
• Build relationship with vendors to gain their support to implement the Bissell Supplier Requirements
• Applying SME level knowledge of electronics area including PCBA/Battery Packing and BMS as well as electrical components as well as the IOT knowledge
• Knowledge of E/E design quality and process control of electronics contract manufacture
• Trains the Process Auditor in manufacture site on job responsibilities. Reviews all new drawings and specifications with the staff to ensure mutual understanding of the requirements. Ensures that the Process Auditor is capable of training the Inspector.
• Perform the internal and external electronics knowledge training at Canton and JiangSu province and so on.
• Reviews and monitors engineering change after mass production and make sure the change implemented effectively.
• Ensures ABR and Reliability Testing well conducted as the approved schedule and follow the issues found.
• Handles customer complaint and ensures that BPR’s are issued for all significant complaints and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Conducts Tier-2 Bissell contract electronics suppliers and key tier-1 supplier assessment and verify processes are being followed and old issues have been resolved. Brings along the Process Auditor on the initial assessment for training purposes.
• Drives the continuous improvement with Bissell internal team and tier-1 and tier -2 suppliers.
• Responsible for design quality summary and supplier quality performance and sustainability regular report

• Performs all other related duties and supervisor assigned task

• Bachelor’s degree above. Major in electronic engineering or electronic related.
• Sound knowledge of IPC 610, QS, Electronic design quality processes and supplier quality processes. At least 6 years of experience as design quality, supplier quality or customer quality engineer totally focus on electronics area
• ISO and other quality system knowledge, good at APQP processes, FMEA, QCP, PPAP, SPC, MSE and other quality tools, have strong problem-solving skills.
• Good in written and spoken English is must and Chinese is a plus
• Strong computer skills with a firm understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Minitab and Jump is a plus.
• Demonstrated team-building skills in an environment of managing through influence and persuasion.
• Self-discipline, working independently and responsibility sense, ability to work under pressure.
• Must be willing to spend 30% (or more as needed) of work hours on repetitive pre-shipment audit/inspection. Willing to travel domestic and oversea.
• Only consider the background of candidates in electronics .

• Quality certifications, e.g. ASQ CQE, CQA, Sigma BB and IATF 16949:2016 auditor will be is a plus.
• Background in electronics.
• Certified with IPC 610
• ESD certified and UL1017 will be preferred
