AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

[AWS China Introduction] Amazon Web Services came to China in 2013, and has been relentlessly investing and expanding our infrastructure and business since then. Amazon Web Services launched its China (Beijing) Region (operated by Sinnet) in September 2016 and its China (Ningxia) Region (operated by NWCD) in December 2017. In 2019, Amazon Web Services added a new region in Hong Kong, making China the only country with three Amazon Web Services regions aside from the U.S. In 2022, Amazon Web Services launched Local Zone in Taipei. Sr. Partner Development Specialist, you will join our team where you’ll have the best of both worlds of ownership while working in a collaborative team dynamic to scale prioritized partner solutions that showcase AWS’ depth of industry expertise to customers while improving business development productivity and helping them stay ahead of their customers’ needs in AWS partner network.
We are looking for a multi-talented partner development specialist to drive AWS Industry partner solution strategy. The ideal candidate will support industry value and transformation and partner development management team to scale solution lighthouse cases, support needed enablement sessions, track and drive follow-up activities and processes by leveraging global & GCR internal or external resources. The ideal candidate should have proven experience using data and metrics to drive improvements, owning program strategy, end to end program delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership, owning and implementing processes across multiple business lines.


Key job responsibilities
Lead and own the industry partner shortlist and drive and deep dive engagement for selected partners for the targeted business and technical objectives and fulfill customer business target.
1. Collect and sort out various requirements according to AWS's industry strategy, and work with partner teams, sales teams, and industry value transformation teams to promote and implement the partner shortlist process;
2. Assist and support the engagement of strategic partners in various industries to continuously achieve business and technical targets;
3. Promote and support sales movements in various industries, and continuously optimize the cooperation of partners and the achievement of various goals;
4. Actively enable partners to better grow in the AWS industry partner network;
5. Track various organizational indicators, provide industry suggestions, understand the solutions of partners in each industry, and support other industry experts to do a good job in Lighthouse support and scaling..
