职位描述

Translation duty

• Plan, schedule and monitor translation projects.
• Proofread and perform quality checks on translated files.
• Translate and review, verify clinical documents, proofread/enter proofreader’s corrections, check consistency and format.
• Embrace new technologies and changes in this industry to continuously improve one’s own translation skillset.

Process management

• Manage the public email account of medical translation.
• Establish and improve standard processes for translation and related activities for the team to follow.
• Manage and maintain the translation glossary and translation memory for Clin Dev.

Internal and external communication

• Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, professionals and colleagues to ensure high quality translation.
• Respond in a timely and professional manner to any query concerning translation.
• Provide mentorship and regular training to newly hired translators.
• Manage external translation service providers to ensure the quality of deliverables.

任职条件

• Master or above majoring in medical, biology, pharmacy, or other life science related areas or majoring in translation with strong medical or life science related background;
• At least 5 years dedicated medical translation/writing related experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare industry;
• High level of English proficiency, especially an excellent command of written English;
• Ability to prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality translation according to tight timelines and shifting priorities/demands;
• Independently motivated with good problem-solving ability;
• A good team player with integrity;
• Ability to understand, interpret, and translate clinical and scientific data;
• Technical expertise in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Trados and other Computer Aided Translation software
