Job Description

Main Purpose and Job Scope

This job contributes to Starbucks Channel Development success by leading two product platforms and Ecommerce, with one Marketing Manager’s support. This role will require working closely with both internal and external cross functional teams.


Key Accountabilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Create insightful consumer campaigns and customer programs to continue to drive awareness and trial – responsible for creative assets development/adaptation, media planning/execution, and KPI monitoring
  • Lead E-Commerce planning from the brand side for full year planning (developing campaign ideas/creative assets as well as linking brand campaigns to land on this channel), working closely with channel planning and external partners, to delivery impactful programs with strong business results
  • Develop relevant and unique line extension for the existing platforms, working with cross functional team to deliver winning product formulation, outstanding packaging design and consumer/customer programs to ensure the success of the launch; deliver sell-in materials for the new product to engage/collaborate with channel planning and external sales partners/to align on the distribution; lead team to develop in-store visibility/customer related programs
  • Lead ad-hoc projects such as driving branded vending machine designs and overall business case review


Requirements

  • 10 years + of marketing work experience in international FMCG companies, with work spans across new product and campaign/activation development, and Ecommerce brand planning
  • Demonstrates a high level of maturity – works collaboratively and positively steers team through changes; confronts conflict constructively up-front
  • Has strong communication and influencing skills – can communicate effectively with both local teams and overseas team in English
  • Strong drive-for-result mindset with problem solving skills
  • Consumer/Customer oriented and is able to develop locally relevant insights from consumer understanding and emerging trend
  • Possesses the growth mindset – for self and for the team/direct report
