Your responsibilities：

As a part of our Global Supply Chain organization, Supply Chain Centre Asia Pacific (SCC AP) is one of three Supply Chain Centres and is located in Shanghai, China. SCC AP is responsible for the sourcing and supply of Mechanical and Controls Equipment for projects all over the world, and for the outsourcing of installation-services and steelwork for the business units that sell and execute projects and services in the APAC region. The role of Senior Manager SCC AP is based in Shanghai and reports directly to the Chief Procurement Officer in Europe. Responsible for leading the Supply Chain Centre in APAC (China, HK, Singapore, AU, India) and is a member of the Global Supply Chain Management Team and APAC Governance & Alignment / Region Management Team.

You will lead the sourcing team to develop and implement category strategies and lead the supply chain team to supply equipment with a competitive price, on time and good quality to the projects globally. You are responsible for Partnering with Project Sales and Execution to minimize total project risk and cost at earliest stage of a project. You play leading role in the continued optimization of the value creation chain, through process optimization between sales, engineering, supply chain and installation at site.
You are responsible for 20 direct and indirect reports in sourcing, procurement, ordering, logistic and quality. You manage growth and performance of the department members with a view on career and talent management and succession planning.
You are Responsible for profit and loss of SCCAP.

You should have a working knowledge of:

Master Degree in Business (Administration), Engineering, Materials Management or equivalent required.
Experience with large commercial (construction) projects ($100M+) required.
10+ years of progressive experience in Procurement, Supply Chain and Logistics, including 5 years in a senior management role.
Willingness to travel internationally (25-50%), based out of Shanghai.
Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin) language, preferably also Dutch.
