Collaborate closely with the logistics departments, other relevant departments and stakeholders of the business units to optimize upstream and downstream logistics operations while improving customer service, inventory and logistics costs.
Continually search for and drive synergistic projects and efficiency improvement initiatives that will reduce costs and simplify operations across business units.
Focus on day to day operations (import, warehouse, transportation), ensure service level be delivered
3PL management, performance monitor and improvement
Logistics KPI ownership, reporting, root cause analysis and drive improvement. KPIs include but are not to be limited to customer service (to request, to promise) and costs.
Support annual budgeting process for all three business units.
Collaborate with business units to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley compliance and other relevant Heinz policies.
Provide support to business units in evaluating Logistics staff hiring, improve efficiency to reduce staff cost.
Assess and develop the Logistics processes and the ERP tools. Get ready for SAP implementation.
Provide best practice training to business units’ logistics teams.
Network with industry experts to stay in tune with current developments in the field of logistics.
Track industry trends to ensure Heinz in China benefits from the latest applicable best practices.
Job Requirement/工作要求:
University degree in related or relevant field.
Minimum five years’ Logistics experience in multinational FMCG companies.
Fluent in English – be able to present self and communicate in good oral and written English.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Good interpersonal skills – be able to collaborate tasks with multi-functional teams.
Familiar with logistics costing elements and budgeting processes.
Ability to present confidently and deliver key points clearly to the audience, and get buy-in and trust through clear and precise communication.
Flexibility and with patience for dealing with rapid change.
Strong business orientation, focused and result driven.
Ability to be assertive when negotiating with logistics vendors.
Highly organized and self-motivated. Be able to work independently and interdependently.
Capable of providing training to peers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
ERP knowledge: SAP, BPCS or similar, WMS, TMS systems, DRP planning.
