Job Title: Senior IT Infrastructure Analyst

Based at: Gaoming, Foshan

Responsible to: Head of IT

Purpose of Role: To provide technical expertise and support activities on the planning and execution of group infrastructure used among the Halo companies.

Essential skills

1. CCNP or CCIE is necessary

2. Sound knowledge of industry standards, best practices in IT infrastructure operational environment

3. Excellent working knowledge of a windows server environment including Win 2008, 2012, Domain Controllers, Exchange, and Win server related backup and restore.

4. Good operational understanding of Active Directory in multi-site, multi-domain environments.

5. Good knowledge of the network system architecture . Experience in MPLS, IPsec VPN in a MNC company.

6. Solid working knowledge and troubleshooting of DFS, GPO, DNS, DHCP, Wins, VPN & Cloud Management

7. In depth understanding of the following infrastructure project work; data centres, office moves, networking, security, wifi access, ticketing systems, data moves.

8. Server Anti-Virus management and implementation

9. Good working knowledge of Cisco

10. Well-developed understanding of regulations and procedures relating to IT security and integrity and the implications of non-compliance

11. A good in depth knowledge of current and future trends within IT, and the ability to recognize and articulate where these may benefit the local team and wider community.

12. Proven track record in Project Management for infrastructure implementations.

13. ITIL Qualified will be advantageous

14. Preferred by not mandatory:

a. Excellent working knowledge of virtualization technologies

15. Macintosh / Apple product PC working environment

Responsibilities

• Manage Halo shared infrastructure operation across Worldwide and playing a hands-on support & management role for these services in accordance with industry best practice and group policies.
• Providing operational management and input and acting as a subject mater expert on the architecture, design & management of IT.
• Ensure is documented and supportable to complement 99.99% uptime requirement on key business systems & services.
• To improve efficiency, customer service, end to end monitoring, reporting and reduce costs by measuring team performance, supplier management and maintaining operational efficiencies.
• To proactively manage and report on infrastructure capacity & implement improvements where necessary.
• Work as global IT team to ensure infrastructure services outstanding queue with adequate responses to meet agreed service levels.
• Act as the gatekeeper among projects, releases and the operational environment.
• Acting as a "Quality Assurance" and helpdesk member across HALO IT department.
• Manage and advisor on exceptions to standards, highlighting any risks, issues, additional costs.
• Ensure all infrastructure related governance forums are consistent, clearly documented and outcome driven.
• Run and manage the Infrastructure co-practice group within HALO to ensure best practice is operated.

Personal Attributes

1. Computer Science or Information Technology related degree

2. Experience managing 3rd Parties, Vendors and Outsourced delivery components

3. Sound business English, written and verbally. Other language e.g. Chinese will be advantageous.

4. Experience of developing innovative solutions and contributing to strategic planning

5. Microsoft Certified Engineer (Prefer)

6. Project Management experience (Prefer)

7. Working experience in MNC will be a plus (3 years or more)

8. A trainer / coach to junior staffs as well as who can execute (2 years)
