Position Summary:

We are looking for an adventurous, passionate, and accomplished Graphic designer with world class design sensibility to join our new design team in Shenzhen, China

The right candidate loves music as we do, brings a fresh perspective on design & innovation and has the ability to understand and translate latest fashion, interior and cultural design trends into iconic product experiences for Harman’s iconic brands, including JBL, Harman Kardon and AKG.

You will take a hands-on position with responsibilities working in a very fast-paced, collaborative environment.You understand that great design can amplify the lives of real people and how this builds a strong brands.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with Art director, and Brand design leaders to translate our Brand identities into exciting and relevant (logos, typography, etc.), retail packaging, point-of-sales displays, retail interior concepts, web page/mobile concepts, promotional video and print advertising.

• Spot trends and innovation inspiration and turn them into new concepts with our multidisciplinary team.

• Be responsible to take ideas from concept through production (die-lines, printer oversight, etc.)

• Design innovative packaging concepts.

• Lead projects, deliver presentations and maintain project manager contact.

• Be responsible for your projects and report to the packaging design manager.

Basic Qualifications:.

• 5+ years of experience in the field of Graphic design & print with an impressive portfolio

• Strong design fundamentals; solid typography, composition, and great attention to detail.

• Professional in the use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Knowledge of 3D or other design tools are a plus.

• Experience in working with consumer lifestyle brands.

• Deep knowledge of relevant software, tools, and processes.

• The ability to work seamlessly with leaders across functions.

• Ability to multi-task many projects and products at once.

• Result-orientated and a motivated team player.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design.

• Love for Design & Music, Passionate about materials, color, finish.

• Interested and passionate for street culture, sports, music and fashion.

• An outgoing character with an excellent sense of humor.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Willingness to travel at least 10% of the time.

• Willingness to work in an office.
