Purpose The Senior Analyst, Business Systems, serves as a Business Technology Solutions (BTS) partner for US Aesthetics Sales, Sales Training, Sales Force Effectiveness and Sales Operations. The Senior Analyst will work alongside Business teams and BTS Business Management to document requirements, guide process and strategy, and manage projects for CRM systems, mobile apps and other sales tools through deployment. The Senior Analyst aligns work strictly to business priorities, adheres to documented SDLC processes, clearly communicates risks and dependencies and has a firm understanding of system and healthcare Compliance rules. The Senior Analyst will be seen as a system expert for our Salesforce.com and other in-field tools and will often serve in a solutioning role for business challenges or system challenges. The Senior Analyst will also work closely with Support teams and including application delivery teams and Service Desk teams to ensure adequate support for system users. Main Areas of Responsibilities Partners with commercial teams to understand, influence and enable both short and long-term sales force solution needs and helps develops strategies and plans to address those needs Primary point of contact for business leaders for overall BTS needs for functional area, responsible for prioritizing demand Proactively identify areas where technology could create new business opportunities, improve business processes, or gain cost efficiencies Facilitates reoccurring involvement from key stakeholders to stay engaged with business and technical needs. Makes strategic decisions that impact the business unit and/or division. Shared decision authority for business unit IT budget and project activities. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures. Coordinate with Service Desk, BTS internal and external support partners to ensure best in class support for all applications and processes for commercial business unit(s) PMO and project management including forecasting resource demand and capture of business requirements. Responsible for estimating new demand on a project-by-project basis and assisting with annual demand planning and estimations. Works collaboratively with upstream and downstream system and process partners and fosters regular communication and collaboration. Strategic thinking Understands and contributes to the business unit strategy and translates business strategy in an aligned portfolio of program roadmaps, projects, and applications Champions change and innovation – stimulates creativity and innovation in others and supports those who initiate change and take risks Constant awareness of evolving regulatory requirements in the business area(s) and influence BTS stakeholders and vendors to efficiently address these evolutions Remains up to date with evolving technologies in the sales, healthcare and marketing space and is continuously search for technologies to help enable better sales force effectiveness. Business Acumen Understands the needs of a large and agile sales organization and ensures that BTS solutions meet business needs Understand specific challenges and opportunities linked to regulatory, legal, and economic situation in different life science-based businesses. Ability to assess overall needs to multiple business units and to negotiate accepted portfolio which meets most strategic needs of business units Consulting with business process owners and business unit management on BTS tools and solutions, recommending solutions aligned with business unit direction, strategy, and priorities. Where needed involve business consultants and external technology experts Portfolio & Budget Management Negotiates for and secures resources to meet the long-range planning and project needs Continually looks for opportunities for portfolio cost optimization and cost avoidance. Manage IT projects across business unit, and division wide when and where applicable. Participate in business projects based on IT expertise. Qualifications Requirements Bachelor's Degree with 8 years experience; Master's Degree with 7 years experience; PhD with 3 years experience. 8+ years of IT experience in large or midsized multinational life science organization 8+ years of experience with CRM and analytics tools such as Salesforce.com, Veeva, PowerBI etc. Broad IT expertise in various disciplines like mobile devices, system development and infrastructure. Experience in setting IT strategy and business IT alignment. Strong interdisciplinary, and excellent intercultural influence, and networking skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster trusting relationships Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to key stakeholders Solid analytical skills combined with extensive project management experience Strong leadership skills to bring different people or groups together to solve business challenges Experience with GxP validation and SLC. Experience with vendor management. Evidence of participation in strategic industry forums. Comfortable working within an agile or waterfall project environment.
