Accountabilities

  • Maximises the brand potential at national level
  • Executes Brand Plan
  • Define and execute strategic plan for the brand
  • Delivers branding campaign in line with international guidance
  • Timely delivery of promotional materials

Responsibilities

  • Develops promotional materials
  • Drives motivation of sales force towards brand aspiration (cycle and launch meetings)
  • Develops and implements Country Brand Plan in full congruence with International Brand Plan
  • Develops long range plan/ forecast with Business Planner
  • Proposes national sales target, achieves agreement with Business Unit Leader and Sales/District Managers
  • Partners with international  product manager
  • Recruits and manages external vendors
  • Identifies business opportunities, champions new ideas and develops business cases
  • Designs and executes promotional activities by determining the type, sequencing and frequency of the promotional mix for target health care professionals and fully utilizing a range of channels (e.g. digital marketing)
  • Obtains and analyzes insights to contribute to the development of the Brand strategy
  • Coordinates competitive intelligence and drives competitive action plans
  • Leads X-functional team to optimize the brand performance
  • Agrees with other marketers in Business Unit team on joint projects
  • Responsible for accurate generation of marketing qualified leads from campaigns
  • Integrate innovative initiatives in Brand Plan execution
  • Is personally involved in the management of key accounts for the Brand and relationship with key external stakeholders

Authority

  • Signs off and manages direct operating expenses in his MC and SC Team at his signature level
  • Selects agencies to support MC capability build and SC operations

  • Brand direct operating expenses budget/ Brand performance/ Country brand plans

  • Product Forecast and LE
  • Business presentations for Brand/Franchise/Country Reviews
  • Cross-functional SC strategy and roadmap for roll-out, funding and improvement
  • Reports on MC impact and SC performance throughout the year
  • Innovative solutions to maximize Customer Engagement activities, and SC ability to support these activities
  • Planning, execution, governance processes for MC planning and SC delivery
  • Presentation promotional materials to sales force and train them

Minimum Requirements

  • Academic education or experience from similar positions
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in industry
  • 1 to 3 years as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written communications
  • Preferably good knowledge of French and Dutch, able to develop promotional materials and present in both languages
  • Financial and budgeting skills and experience
  • Documented track record of product launch
  • Computer skills (MS Office programs)
  • Tenure at last two jobs for at least 2 years each

Preferred Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years in a big pharmaceutical company
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a US pharmaceutical company
  • Documented experience in Franchise area (e.g., Oncology,
  •      Nephrology, etc.)
  • Documented success in gaining or maintaining market leadership position
