The role of the jobholder is to establish and continuously improve our site Food Safety management system that enable the reliable delivery of safe products that meet all external legislative requirements and all internal standards. This role is the Quality & Food Safety representative into quality, growth and efficiency projects, providing in depth, technical Food Safety expertise into the vision and realization of site projects.

This role is critical in maintaining a high level of Food safety practices, knowledge and behaviours on site and in implementing Food Safety standards.

 

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Food Technology / Microbiology or other relevant technical discipline

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Polish

• Food Safety related working experience (minimum 2 years) in food industry

• Project management & organizing skills

• Knowledge of HACCP and quality & food safety management systems

• Sound risk management skills

• Auditing

• Good understanding of Food microbiology

• Strong collaborator

• Affinity to educate other people around quality and food safety

 

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Participates in the Food Safety standards development and leads deployment of new Food Safety standards to the factory environment, collaborating in regional food safety communities

Engages local stakeholders around the upcoming changes (Operations, Industrial Engineering, Engineering/Maintenance, HSE, etc.)

• Scopes and coordinates a project team to enable effective implementation of all necessary changes in food safety management system in the factory

• Provides expert input in risk analysis dedicated to the activities /changes implemented on site

• Provides expert input in Food Safety related incidents and participates in creating relevant preventive actions

• In charge of defining and validating all the procedures aiming to guaranty a food safety product (OPRP, CCP, micro verification, including cleaning and allergen changeover procedures)

• Guardian of GMP/GHP on site and HACCP champion

• Internal auditor of Quality & Food Safety management system on site

• Challenges Food Safety results of the site and pro-actively proposes continuous improvement actions and projects

• Governs the environmental and micro-verification programs on site
