VSA is now recruiting an enthusiastic and committed teacher for the above position for the school year beginning August 2020. The ideal candidate will have

• An undergraduate degree in Spanish and a recognized teaching qualification
• A native speaker of Spanish with a degree in Spanish Literature PLUS a recognized teaching qualification
• The ability to teach French as an additional language would be an asset
• Familiarity with and ideally experience teaching IB (MYP and/or DP)
• Previous experience as a head of department is welcome for leadership candidates
• A commitment to student-centered, inquiry-based learning
• A growth-mindset looking to continually improve
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a new cultural environment
