Drive Devilbiss Healthcare Shenzhen office is newly established in early of 2019. We are seeking for high caliber to join us.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
This position will participate in prospecting potential suppliers while building their knowledge of new suppliers, materials, processes, cost, lead time, quality, and compliance. Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Sourcing, this position will manage a group of suppliers, including sourcing, negotiations on pricing and other commercial terms and lead supplier business reviews. The role is also responsible for managing supply chain readiness for new product development across the products in this category.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages, coordinates and directs supply chain management activities through day-to-day tactical and long-term strategic activities for assigned categories and suppliers; including the establishment of strategic goals, plans, outlooks, objectives and metrics.
Develops industry/market trend analysis, competitive situations, commodity price trends, and supply/demand situations for assigned spend categories.
Work with Buyer team to ensure that supply is scheduled to effectively meet demand, and assist in inventory management.
Negotiate and facilitate approval for new supplier contracts and agreements under the direction of the Senior Manager, Sourcing.
Understand and incorporate business requirements for assigned spend categories into vendor relationships and business practices and act as the owner of the relationship and interaction with assigned supply base.
Set and meet TQRACC (Technology, Quality, Responsiveness, Availability, Cost and Compliance) objectives for the suppliers / programs within the scope of the role.
Measure and manage supplier performance to ensure productivity, timely deliveries, high service levels and adherence to quality specifications and all other business requirements.
Meet and exceed cost reduction goals, while reducing risk in the supply chain.
Lead and/or support supplier business reviews for assigned group of suppliers
Participate in new product development and deliver across all elements of supply chain readiness

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:
Financial Analysis and Cost Modeling – Understanding of “total cost of ownership,” can read and analyze financial statements to assess the strength of a business and uses these skills in everyday sourcing decisions. Understands and creates make/buy analysis.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Effective written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin
Able to work independently and make recommendations
A Bachelor’s Degree in a business, supply chain or other related field.
A minimum of 5-7 years’ work experience working with manufacturers
Must be computer savvy with extensive MS Office experience.
Willing to take challenges, hardworking, self-motivated and dependable
Capability to handle multiple tasks
Strong prioritization skills
Able to travel within the geographical area and sometimes throughout China
