Mission: Follow the trends in exhibition and report them, to find the right suppliers based on technical abilities and business behavior, give our team technical and administration support, help analyse costs.

Responsibilities:

Factory sourcing / Trends hunting:

o Collect information from our buyers (material swatch cards, email, etc), and go to china markets, visit brokers or even factories to find matching or similar products

o Compare and send the right material with prices and eventual comments back to buyers or to factories

Technical support :

o Go to factories if need to analyse and better understand specific material technics

o Advise our buyer colleagues about the products specificities for mass production

o Help to define the risks linked to the product based on the on-site visit.

Cost analyse :

o Keep knowledge of the material costs and inform buyers during development process

o Help negotiate material price if eventual need to purchase for mass production

Reporting analyse :

o Create and update business reports and presentations

• At least 5 years strong experience in bag/accessories material sourcing.

• Interested and sensible in product trends

• Strong knowledge of material and its specificities

• Very good communication skills with internal and external, ability to communicate in English in writing and oral

• Willing to travel frequently mainly in China or maybe Hong Kong

• Good knowledge of MS office
