We are seeking Solutions Architects throughout the country within OCI perform this vital function by connecting customers, sales, and engineering to provide the optimal technical solutions for customer stated business and operation problems.

In many ways, the SA is the first line of defense for all of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Customers. We are the go-to people for CXO’s and serve as trusted advisors. In this role Solutions Architects perform a number of different functions, some of which are\:

1. Own and drive architecture best practices throughout our customers and Oracle.
2. Author SME technical collateral that enables future solutions implementations
3. Assist Engineering teams in establishing the stated direction of OCI features and integrate new features/products into validated solutions
4. Act as the primary source of technical enablement for sales and evangelist efforts 
5. Provide an escalation path for Support for direct customer interaction.
6. Act as the trusted technical advisor to customers, partners and Oracle sales organizations.

In order to accomplish the broad range of functions, Solutions Architects must have a broad skillset including\:

• 10 years of experience in Operations, Solutions Architecture, and/or System Engineering
• Recent technical experience designing and/or deploying in at least one major public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI). 
• Demonstrated ability in writing as indicated by publications of blogs, whitepapers, or other technical collateral and presenting to technical and business audiences. 
• Experience consulting/interacting with customers, including architects, C level, etc.
• Experience with at least one on-premises compute abstraction layer\: VMware preferred.
• 2 years’ experience with at least one scripting or programming language - Python, Bash, Java, PowerShell
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

!|!Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
