As a Software Quality Senior Engineer for cloud you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks and scripts for EVCI system testing and implementation, in Electrification Business Area in Shenzhen, China.

Reporting to the R&D Team Manager, you will conduct new feature research and design test cases.

Your responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks and scripts for EVCI system testing and implementation
• Participating in the test planning and product planning processes
• Participating in the design sessions side by side with developers and product managers to scope and prioritize new features
• Conducting new feature research and design test cases
• Having required experience with creation, execution, and maintenance of automated front-end application and back-end (API and database) tests with automation technologies for .NET/Java.
• Exploring, identifying, and documenting new bugs, advocating for the resolution of bugs and communicating the impact on customers to developers and support
• Learning new things and maintaining an overview of current technologies
• Working in a fast-paced agile global environment of talented quality engineers

Your background

• 5+ years of professional experience working in Software developer / Software Quality assurance with testing experience working with globally distributed members
• Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining test environments and automated test suites
• Familiarity with Linux system, knowledge of networking, like Internet/web, http(s).
• Experience in mobile App testing and continuous integration (CI) like, Gitlab Jenkins
• Programming skills in shell, Java, Golang, Python, or another programming language. Familiarity with agile testing methodologies and techniques
• A bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent in computer science or a related field
• Solid written and verbal communication skills in English
