• Planning, executing and monitoring development projects in accordance with the defined software/product development model

• Coordination of development activities in all of Harman’s various departments, including R&D, Product Management

• Relentlessly execute project plan to meet schedule commitment

• Ongoing risk management evaluating the risk and taking the necessary actions

• Updating budget with cost, used time and resources with support from the project controller

• Reporting to the PMO. Timely escalation to senior management team when there is a major issue that would significantly impact program schedule, cost and quality which is beyond what the project team is capable of resolving

Basic Qualifications: List the minimum and desired education (including degrees, licenses, certification or registrations) and experience needed to perform the key responsibilities of the position.

• BS or MS in Engineering or Computer Science disciplines.

• Min. 5 years experience in Software development industry.

• Min. 2 years experience in Software Project Management role.

• Development experience of Audio, Headphone products is an advantage.

• Experience in managing external vendors, multi-location project team and excellent understanding in Project Management Methodology and tools.

• Analytical and pro-active decision making. Strong troubleshooting skills on problem resolution.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Communicate very clearly and succinctly (in English) to internal and external stakeholders on all technical and non-technical matters to persuade and influence.

• Comfortable with fast-paced and multitasking environment.
