Software Engineer – AutoCAD Fabric

Position Overview

Autodesk Inc. is looking for talent Software Development Engineers to work on our products AutoCAD. The applicant for this position will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing and extending features of AutoCAD and AutoCAD verticals. In this role, the applicant will work closely with other groups across the company. The applicant will be part of our global engineering team.

AutoCAD team is looking for a talent developer who can work with us to combining the cutting-edge techniques to bring the AutoCAD user experience to next level.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, implement and troubleshoot product features according to market requirements and product specifications.
• Produce clean, maintainable, well-documented code in adherence to internal standards.
• Write unit-test code for robustness
• Introduce new technology to AutoCAD
• Improve application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements:

• BS or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent. MS/Ph.D is desirable.
• 2+ years software development experience
• Good C++ programming, OOA and OOD skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual C++ development environment.
• Familiar with python, javascript, typescript, node.js is a plus.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good English speaking and writing skills.
• Good analytical skills.
• Motivated, self-starter, creative thinker, ability to work alone or as part of a team.
