Social Media Specialist Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with Govee's brand objectives and target markets.
2. To grow and engage followers, as well as maximize brand awareness across social media channels.
3. Monitor and analyze social media trends, audience behavior, and competitor activities to optimize content and campaigns for maximum reach and engagement.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure social media initiatives align with broader marketing and communication strategies.
5. Stay up-to-date with emerging social media platforms, tools, and best practices, and recommend innovative approaches to maximize engagement & growth and enhance Govee's social media presence.
6. Analyze the local market and competitors to understand how to gain a competitive advantage in the market.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Native level verbal and written communication skills, native speaker preferred.
2. Bachelor’s degree holder or above in PR, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Language, Business, Multimedia or related discipline.
3. Minimum 3-5 year of social media managing / digital marketing / media / content writing or relevant experience. Preferably on 3C industry or related area.
4. Strong command of social media platforms operations. Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook,Twitter, and YouTube, etc.
5. Aptitude for crafting engaging content. Passion for understanding where audiences are and how they best consume content.
6. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
7. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and well-organized
8. Strong interpersonal skills
