Job Description
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Site Services Supply Clerk, are to:
- Prepare materials for shipment, both domestic and international, following relevant shipping practices/procedures/regulations including the handling of hazardous waste, transportation routing, schedules and requirements;
- Coordinate shipping schedules with international customers, with the use of hand trucks and other devices for the physical loading, unloading and/or sorting of packages by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying and placing, in a safe and efficient manner;
- Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications;
- Log receipt of items on system;
- Process freight bills, packing sheets and other documents;
- Report materials shipped and bills of lading, posting weight and shipping charges;
- Route merchandise to destinations;
- May lay out, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes and prepare parts and tooling for special shipment;
- Receive all incoming supplies, enter data in to SAP database, mark packages appropriately and deliver materials (generally chemicals and equipment) throughout the site;
- Communicate daily with CoLaborator Incubator tenants and act as Bayer’s primary day-to-day contact for that relationship;
- Manage the CoLaborator Admin Inbox;
- Manage CoLaborator SharePoint sites;
- Work on CoLaborator accounting issues;
- Update Tenant Manual and oversee tenant leases;
- Manage inventory of shared laboratory equipment;
- Act as the main point of contact for security related concerns, mostly by dealing with badging and access of both Bayer and Tenant Companies;
- Maintain functionality of all break rooms;
- Assist with setup and support services for conference rooms throughout the site including videoconferencing and the audio-visual system;
- Support Site Administration- by checking inventory, coordinate both on-site and off-site events, procure office and lab supplies, help with SharePoint subsites, work on site-wide communications of various sorts, oversee garage access issues;
- Issue purchase orders as needed;
- Manage conference room calendars;
- Assist with expense reports.

Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Five years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Proficiency in shipping/receiving activities including knowledge of domestic and international shipping, NAFTA and export paperwork;
- IATA certification;
- USDOT certification;
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office;
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with all levels of the organization and with outside shipping contact;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Attention to detail;
- Strong work ethic, proven attendance record and punctuality;
- Demonstrated proficiency in following routine written or oral instructions;
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic arithmetic;
- Demonstrated knowledge of and proficient in applying basic problem solving, planning and work prioritization;
- Proficiency in SharePoint, SmartBuy, SAP, Photoshop, Office Suite, Zoom, Concur, Adobe.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency in shipping/receiving activities including knowledge
of domestic and international shipping, NAFTA and export paperwork.
• IATA certified.

• Proficient in SharePoint, SmartBuy, SAP, Photoshop, Office Suite,
Zoom, Concur, Adobe
