YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role Maintenance Tech are to: 

• Actively participates in Health & Safety Program, along with being able to identify and resolve hazards across the site;
• Develop, organize and complete routine and preventative maintenance for facility equipment;
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and equipment repair/service manuals;
• Work with other teams and groups to develop consistent operating procedures and identify improvements;
• Ability to work with external vendors and order parts or supplies needed to complete electrical repairs;
• Install new and/or modify existing mechanical/electrical equipment to support the operation of seed processing equipment;
•  Enter service and/or repair information into our computerized work order system to track maintenance activities for each piece of equipment being serviced or repaired;
• Become familiar with and troubleshoot electrical issues for seed production equipment and operations (when applicable).

Required Qualifications

 • High School Diploma or equivalent with continued education in Electrical

 Field;

• Valid driver's license;

• Proficient computer skills - Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications:

 • Demonstrated decision-making, problem solving;

•  Strong organization and high attention to detail;

• Ability to prioritize;

• Electrical Certification(s);

• Prior work experience with electricity and electrical systems;

• Team work mindset;

• Experience with LEAN manufacturing processes;

• Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset.
