Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To plan, develop and implement comprehensive show marketing strategies and campaigns, ensuring these are aligned to, and evolve with, market and customer requirements
- Overall responsibility for delivery of strategy into tactical execution through the marketing campaign across multiple channels including, but not limited to, eDM, social media, pDM, website, advertising and third-party promotional activity to maximize event pre-registrations and attendee conversion
- Coordinate all marketing plans and activities with other managers and team members to ensure that the plans are delivered effectively
- Work with central marketing team on defining, tracking and reporting of marketing metrics, KPIs and campaign performance on a regular basis with a strong emphasis on identifying actions/optimization based on data-derived insight
- Liaise effectively with central marketing teams & external agency partners to ensure effective briefing, efficient processes and clear targets & timelines to generate desired outcomes
- Manage the show marketing team to ensure it is motivated and trained to carry out its responsibilities in achieving show objectives
- Remain up-to-date with the latest communications tools and continuously assess their deployment to improve marketing effectiveness including social media
- Manage and monitor budgets, provide accurate forecasts and feed into the budget setting process
- Promote a culture of testing and change to continuously drive improvement
REQUIREMENTS.
- Bachelor degree or above in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communication, Business or other related fields.
- Comprehensive marketing knowledge and minimum 8 years of hands-on marketing experience, especially on digital marketing for international markets
- At least 3 years of in similar role and experience in managing a marketing team
- A proven track record of implementing successful marketing campaigns - ideally for large scale B2B exhibitions
- Highly proactive, initiating attitude able to take prompt action to accomplish objectives and goals beyond what is required, with the energy and tenacity to overcome challenges effectively
- Proven experience of, and demonstrated aptitude for, all aspects of digital marketing including CRM & marketing automation (ideally Oracle Eloqua), email & mobile, social media, websites, search and online advertising
- Strongly results focused, able to clearly demonstrate success via proven metrics
- Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
- Strong organizational/project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Superior verbal and written communications skills with high attention to detail in both English and Chinese
