Job Description
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Represent the management and team to take part in client and agency meetings when needed.
- Develop leads through socializing and prospecting within targeted circles and industries for the Account Managers based in other cities.
- Develop new prospects for Chinese customers based in Shanghai under management supervision to avoid any account allocation misunderstanding with other team members.
- Monitor Shanghai market advertising information.
Requirements:
- Ability to discuss business and communication strategy at all levels with the market, for a wide range of industries and types of clients. BD, consulting and sales experience could all be valuable.
- Bachelor’s Degree or above, ideally overseas.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English (native speakers preferred), Mandarin Chinese a plus (at least business level)
- Ability to work independently, self-driven, strong sense of accountability and attention to details.
- Ability to communicate efficiently with remote colleagues and management.
- Independent thinker with an ability to seek out business opportunities.
- Knowledge and experience in the media/advertising world is not a must, but could be a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of Marketing/Sales experience as manager, preferably in B2B industry.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office software, especially Power Point;
- Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
