As a Servo Senior SW Engineer, you will be responsible for developing embedded firmware for motion servo, in Motion Business Area in Nanjing, Beijing, China.

Reporting to the R&D Senior Engineer, you will analyze customer needs and transferring into technical solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Working as part of the Drive Product Servo Drive Product Line R&D department, Servo motion team
• Developing embedded firmware for motion servo
• Maintaining old products and participating new generation products development
• Supporting technical requirement specification and concept proofing of new technologies
• Analyzing customer needs and transferring into technical solutions
• Leveraging best-practice software engineering processes, utilizing appropriate tools

Your background

• 5 years of working experience with embedded system development, preferred ARM using C/C++; alternatively, FPGA are preferred
• Experienced on Industry application especially Servo or Drives and understand motion product application
• Experience in working with version control tools, for example Git
• Experience with scripting language such as Python,UML
• Strong software development background, familiar with all aspects of the software development life cycle
• A Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Automation preferred
• Good English communication skills (in oral and writing) and positive attitude
