• Cooperate in ensuring the availability of production-supporting equipment/systems, with functional leadership

Principle activities

• Functional leadership of employees.
• Coordinate employees (e.g. staff deployment planning etc.) and machine use.
• Change arrangements with respect to work sequences and working material in the event of faults and bottlenecks
• Ensuring the necessary equipment for service technicians in the shift
• Support and represent the service technicians in the shift
• Ensuring the implementation and documentation of very difficult maintenance, repair and overhaul work on very complex equipment / systems as specified.
• Assemble, start-up and relocate highly complex equipment / systems in the production plant in concert with customer requirements and specifications (e.g., equipment engineering specifications, etc.) while taking account of deadlines and quality.
• Mounting, installing / removing and adjusting very complex assemblies / components in equipment
• Implementation and documentation of changes or corrections to machine controls and machining programs as well as parameterization with preparation of the respective data sheets as specified.
• Execution and documentation of checks for correct operation (e.g. mechanical, electrical, etc.) and test runs for equipment / systems.
• Analysis of very complex problems / faults on very complex equipment / systems, if necessary using diagnostic systems
• Eliminate / have eliminated malfunctions (for example process failures, etc.) on machinery and equipment (e.g. tool breakage, etc.)
• Observance and compliance with all relevant processes and work instructions in the area of responsibility.
• Collaborate to information flows within the involved departments and to supervisors.
• Identification and elimination (as specified) of vulnerabilities and development of proposals for improvement measures for equipment / systems.
• Collaborate to the implementation of all relevant audit requirements as well as internal and external quality standards and implementation of countermeasures in case of deviations and improvement potentials.
• Establish spare part and wear part requirements, dispose parts purchases.
• Developing and proposing measures to improve the cost effectiveness of maintenance and servicing processes as well as maintenance standards.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory safety regulations (in particular the Occupational Health and Safety Act as well as environmental protection) and the central DRX specifications

• Advanced vocational/technical training usually acquired through a degree in a technical or vocational discipline plus a few years of experience knowledge of methods, techniques and processes; mastery level of skilled trade)
