As a Service Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for the sales of service offerings and end user influencing of new products/systems within a designated market (region/segment) in accordance with Division/Local Division strategy, achieving targets set by Division/Local Division and accountable for Order Receive, Revenue, Account Receivable, Margin and Customer Satisfaction, for Process Automation Business Area in Guangzhou, China.
Reporting to the Service Team Leader, you will identify and develop sales opportunities in assigned market(region/segment) and customers.
Your responsibilities
- Selling service products to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned region/segment/customers. Understanding Division/Local Division sales strategy and get it implemented into sales activities, making sure achievement of targets being defined in assigned business territory
- Establishing & maintaining effective customer relationships on all levels to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of ABB Turbocharging offerings, and aligning to provide a solution. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
- Preparing sales pipeline management by using Atrub/SAP tools. Performing regular status reviews and proposes growth/catch-up plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls. Conducting MMA customer review, negotiating with customer on yearly budget based on service recommendation being worked out together with SOP
- Creating added value for the customer and ABB, ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques
- Preparing offers in coordination with Service Operation and/or Business Development. Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions
- Identifying total service potential in assigned territory, evaluating service opportunities to develop sales planning and corresponding sales activity plan
- Supporting market intelligence & business development on the development of service products offering to be assigned market to improve service market share and profit
- Identifying and driving the development of new opportunities in the designated market and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
Your background
- Sound knowledge of marine / offshore or Oil & Gas section industry
- Good skills and experience in industry sales, good negotiation, presenting and influencing skills
- Being familiar with specific requirements of the diesel engine, shipping, and marine industries or Oil & gas industries
- Fluency in English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Willing to work under high pressure with demanding customers
- Excellent teamwork and team spirit
