Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the Global and China teams, cross-regionally and cross- functionally, involved in creating a China Service Excellence strategy
- Set up and manage the implementation of Service Excellence strategies throughout the region by tracking and analyzing service revenue, price, coverage and business trend
- Develop and drive to completion process improvement projects in rebuild, R&R, and parts
- Use analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills and methods to identify opportunities in gaining market share, areas of waste and inefficiency and develop, recommend, and implement solutions
- Support the sales team through “product” marketing activities such as competitive comparisons and sales training, product launches, presentations to customers, etc.
- Understand the China service market dynamics through market research, relationships with customers and the regional sales & service team, and keep the organization informed on the dynamics, Identify need for new major initiatives to senior management for further consideration
PREDOMINANT TASKS
- Be a point of contact to the global Commercial Service team relating to the service excellence in China
- Support the product managers and work with the regional sales and marketing team to analyze market dynamics and define market needs of current and next model of products
- Involved in the compilation of the master plan for the Soft Rock Underground services in China by working collaboratively with regional and global teams, including market requirements, competitive landscape, gaps, service positioning, lifecycle, pricing, operations footprint and service support plans
- Work collaboratively with regional and global teams to execute the service strategy
- Produce analytics to inform leadership team on service performance (financially and technically) and suggest actions to influence the trends
- Prepare the spare parts strategy for new OE equipment in consultation with other business stakeholders, e.g. Regional GMs, Supply Chain, Service Excellence
- Coordinate resources to meet internal and customer needs of product training, presentation, technical liaison etc.
- Collaborate with local shop leadership and other SE teams to drive continuous improvement culture and environment
