As a Senior Equipment Manager you will be responsible for leading the processes in maintaining and preserving efficiency of all equipment, production lines and/or facilities, resulting in optimization of technical and financial resources and may specialize in mechanical, electrical, mechatronic, or other similar areas, in Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will propose improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.
Your responsibilities
- Overseeing execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities
- Collaborating with the Engineering team to define maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, and consults on ways to improve reliability, maintainability and safety of equipment and/or facilities
- Managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities
- Solving major technical, equipment or facilities problems in order to achieve higher performance of the production lines. Maintaining tools and repair equipment in good working order
- Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency
- Responding to emergencies, break-downs, malfunctions and other operating problems to minimize disruption to production process
- Implementing health, safety and environmental guidelines and directives to ensure safety of people and resources
Your background
- 10 years plus work experience in equipment debugging and maintenance related jobs.
- Good experience in the plan, evaluation and commissioning of the automation line projects.
- Sound knowledge in Siemens PLC programming and debugging skills
- Familiar with assembly lines equipment and master normal electrical components theory
- Experience in Robots/Vision/Screwing related debugging is preferred
- Good knowledge and skills of Eplan /Autocad /Solidworks or similar software
- A Bachelor’s degree or above with electrical engineering background
- Fluency in English both Oral and Written
