CSTC ICG Technology department mainly supports MSS (Markets and Securities Services) of ICG, which is one of the key businesses of investment bank industry globally.

Job Summary

Citi is looking for a Developer who will help design and develop an enterprise level data and analytics platform. He/she will be part of a team building a scalable platform used by our clients for discovery, access and analytical processing of data. The platform will support batch and real time analytics and expose the capabilities through a set of APIs. The platform will also provide sandboxing capabilities for the clients to further process the data.

The candidate will play a central role in development of the scalable data platform used for discovery, access and analytics on cross business data.

The members will be part of a global team with presence in the US, Warsaw and many other Citi locations we have.

Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources.

Citi also have strict coding and engineering standards to follow from following proper unit testing to continuous integration. The candidate should be familiar with the tools needed here.

Job Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will have a strong UI development background, creating rich solutions using technologies such as HTML5 and AngularJS along with good java and db experience.
• The candidate would work closely with other colleagues in the team and user community to translate the user requirements to scalable solutions.
• They would be responsible for developing prototypes, unit test cases, and design artifacts and of course real implementations.
• They would ensure that the application components are built to the highest standards across the application lifecycle with a constant eye for process improvement through unit testing automation, one click build and deployment

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering)
• 3+ years programming experience in related area
• Excellent communication skill and interpersonal skill
• Proficient in both spoken and written English
• Banking and securities domain knowledge would be an added advantage
• Strong knowledge on multiple RIA frameworks (Angular JS, Bootstrap, etc)
• Strong knowledge in JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Exposure to cross browser scripting
• Exposure to JavaScript debugging tools (e.g. Firebug)
• Should be able to work on Junit testing
• Understanding on UI design process and activities
• Good analytical, debugging and problem solving skills.
• Understanding of database (Oracle preferably) with ability to write queries and stored procedures.
