Full Technology stack – Senior Technology Solution Engineer
The primary role of a Technology Solution Engineer (TSE) is to work in a pre-sales capacity to effectively position and ensure growth of Oracle Technology stack composed into business solutions (core functions of the Oracle Database, Manageability options, Performance options, High Availability & Security options, Data Warehousing & Analytics options and Middleware). Experience administering Oracle databases, developing on APEX or any other RAD tools, mobile application development, IoT, Blockchain will be a definite advantage. TSE develops and supports opportunities for developing customer's business by deploying data management and middleware solutions. TSE inspires customers into new technologies and innovative business models; defines customer solutions, associated architectures and roadmaps, followed by work in a solution-oriented approach. As such understanding of customer needs, being able to communicate with senior customer staff, from both, business and IT perspective, and increasing value to the customer are key.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide high quality technical pre-sales services to customers and partners (value proposition, technical workshops, hybrid products positioning) through presentations, demonstrations/seminars, proof of concepts, installations, response to Invitations to Tender and Request for Information documents
- Provides direction and specialist knowledge on new technologies and product features
- Work with our clients to model their data landscape, obtain data extracts and define secure data exchange approaches and good practice data integration strategies.
- Acquire, ingest, and process data from multiple sources and systems into Big Data platforms
- Have a strong understanding of Information/Data Security principles to ensure compliant handling and management of client data
- Facilitation of customer product model understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks.
- Formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Lead and participate in marketing activities (presentations, events, articles etc.)
- Maintain knowledge and commercial awareness of the competitor product/solution offerings and value propositions
- Understand the needs and pains of the customer and then map to Oracle products
- Acting as an expert in the Middleware space
- Take an active part in the training and development of the partner community
- Actively generate ideas for Demand Generation and execute same in addition to generic Demand generation activities planned by EMEA management
- Establish herself/himself as a trusted and respected advisor internally and to the customer externally.
- Actively develop and nurture business relationships with ‘C’ level personas at customers
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or any other equivalent degree
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience and track record related to Oracle technologies
- Experience in a sales/pre-sales environment will be a definite advantage
- Professional Qualifications on Oracle and/or 3rd party (TOGAF, ITIL, ISO, CISSP, CISM, AWS, GOOGLE, AZURE)
- A good level of understanding of Oracle’s overall technologies and hybrid solutions.
- Feel comfortable developing and presenting solutions to IT as well as Business users using the appropriate approach and language
- Experience working within OR with banking industry and/or public sector is a great advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

The primary focus of a Technology Solution Engineer (Pre-sales) is to become an expert in a core set of Oracle products and solutions and to present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to our partners, prospects and customers and internally to our sales force
As a TSE, you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision, through on-line/in person sales efforts. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Internet Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships. Support sales team in online/in-person selling efforts with minimal supervision. Develop and deliver proposed solution to customers.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed.

Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
