We are looking for an experienced, hard-working, self-starter to join the SuiteSuccess Architecture Team focusing on our NetSuite Planning and Budgeting (NSPB) industry-specific solutions. A Principal NSPB Architect uses their prior Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) and FP&A domain expertise to design new industry-specific planning and budgeting solutions for the NetSuite platform. They will have a strong understanding of how to build, optimize, and maintain PBCS or on-premise applications using the full range of available configurable options including but not limited to input forms, business rules, security, variables, and Reporting Web Studio. Strong written skills and attention to detail are key requirements as this role is also responsible for the creation and upkeep of solution documentation utilized by NetSuite Sales and Professional Services as well as our NetSuite Partner community.

As a Principal NSPB Architect you will work closely with our SuiteSuccess Solution Management team to identify customer requirements and translate those requirements into Functional and Technical specifications for our NSPB Build team.  You will also interaction with our quality Assurance team to ensure proper testing of the newly designed solutions as well as te NetSuite integration and Oracle PBCS Product teams to understand how new product enhancements can be incorporated to optimize the solutions we are delivering to our customers.

Responsibilities\:

·        Work directly with the Solution Management team to translate business requirements into functional & technical configurations.

·        Ensure the creation of domestically competitive NSPB industry solutions at launch and with future enhancements.

·        Create and maintain documentation associated with NSPB SuiteSuccess solutions.

·        Showcase NSPB SuiteSuccess solutions to the Solution Management and vertical/regional influence teams to ensure product readiness per market.

·        Work with NetSuite Professional Services & Sales to build NSPB templates for NetSuite customers for provisioning.

·        Conduct testing and quality assurance in line with SuiteSuccess standards defined by the Strategic Initiatives’ standard operating procedures.

·        Participate in business planning activities and ongoing progress reporting with the senior leadership.

·        Review and groom SuiteSuccess defect and enhancement requests.

·        Work with the Oracle PBCS product team to identify and prepare for future PBCS Platform updates.

·        Work with NetSuite integration team to help design and incorporate updates to the integrations into our solutions.

·        Work directly with the NetSuite Support organization to ensure continued customer satisfaction.

 

Skills and Expertise\:

·        Bachelors’ degree preferably in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Software Development or equivalent. Accounting or Finance knowledge, education or background is preferred.

·        Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership, both written and verbally.

·        5 years’ experience translating business requirements into functional and technical configurations on the PBCS platform.

·        7 years’ experience with creating, configuring, and maintaining applications in financial planning, budgeting and analysis systems is a must with experience creating applications in Oracle E/PBCS, Hyperion Planning and/or Essbase preferred. Skills should include creation of Webforms, Business Rules, and data integration packages using FDMEE/Data Management.

·        Strong aptitude developing efficient business rules that solve solution and forecast processing requirements is required. Excel modelling or computer programming backgrounds will also be considered.

·        Experience with using SQL to extract data from ERP systems or data warehouses is a plus.

·        1-2 years’ experience of NetSuite ERP functional or technical consulting with a strong and demonstrable product understanding including process flows, dashboard configuration and publishing, saved searches, and reporting is highly desirable

·        Demonstrated ability to balance, prioritize, and deliver high-quality work product on multiple simultaneous workstreams is required.

·        High level of comfort with ambiguity; ability to structure unstructured problems and resolve quickly.

Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.
