As a Senior Software Engineer you will be responsible for developing platform for new generation motion servo, in Motion Business Area in Nanjing, Beijing, China.

Reporting to the R&D Senior Engineer, you will support technical requirement specification and concept proofing of new technologies.

Your responsibilities

• Working as a part of the Drive Product Servo Drive Product Line R&D department, Servo motion team
• Developing platform for new generation motion servo
• Supporting technical requirement specification and concept proofing of new technologies
• Analyzing customer needs and transferring into technical solutions
• Leveraging best-practice software engineering processes, utilizing appropriate tools

Your background

• More than 5 years of work experience in developing within embedded operating system environment, RTOS such as ucOS, FreeRTOS, eCos, ect.
• Experience in working with version control tools, for example Git
• Sound knowledge in software development background, familiar with all aspects of the software development life cycle and strong programming skills with C or C++
• Familiar with design patterns and willing to work in Agile software development
• Familiar with SW build server build up
• A bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Automation preferred
• Fluency in English communication skills (in oral and writing) and positive attitude
