As a Senior Scientist you will be responsible for performing advanced power electronics related research activities, for Electrification Business Area in Shenzhen, China.

Reporting to the R&D Team Manager, you will ensure successful execution and providing excellent technical contribution to research projects.

Your responsibilities

• Performing advanced power electronics related research activities in the area of power converter topology, converter control and modulation, EMC, packaging, etc.
• Ensuring successful execution and providing excellent technical contribution to research projects
• Following up new technologies, having a clear view of technology development trends

Your background

• A PhD degree (or master’s degree with 5+ years’ research experience) major in power electronics or other related areas
• Experience in project management with good innovation capability
• Solid experience in hardware prototyping and experiment to verify the ideas / solutions.
• Good knowledge in power electronic converter / inverter topologies
• Solid experience in DSP / FPGA firmware programing and PCB layout design is a plus
• Being able to travel abroad, including short-term job rotation as required
• Fluency in English both speaking and writing
