Senior Recruiter

Objectives

  • To be subject matter experts on the entire recruitment lifecycle
  • To be subject matter experts on their geomarket client’s business, overall industry, marketplace and competitor activities
  • Identify, attract and categorise talent to the company
  • To lead by example and motivate and mentor members of the recruitment team

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carry out core duties and responsibilities as described in the “Recruiter” position description
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of their client’s business and any major projects that will have significant impact on their business activities
  • Maintain expert understanding of the organizational structure of their geomarket, particularly in the leadership team and 2 positions down
  • Maintain effective knowledge and relationships with key personnel in COEs to go to as information sources and for expediting hold-ups i.e. HRSC, GM, TM, TA
  • Leverage off established relationships to gain understanding of upcoming recruitment needs to then be able to set up talent pipelines to reduce time to hire
  • Develops tailored innovative sourcing strategies to meet hiring demands, both current and forecasted
  • Develops, cultivates and leverages a professional network that yields quality candidates and referrals.
  • Effectively position the client and their opportunities to attract best in industry candidates
  • Keep abreast of recruitment best practices to then be able to educate Hiring Managers on best practice and hiring initiatives
  • Competitor profiling
  • Act as a mentor to new and junior recruits to the team to help them gain understanding on the client and processes
  • Project management duties as assigned
  • Continuous improvement to deliver significant benefits to BHI including quality improvement and cost reduction.
  • To be able to manage an average of 30 open positions (not including with HRSC) at any given time and to fill these within the stipulated contractual time frame of 60 days
