Job Description
Key Job Responsibility
- Support China Supply Chain to build positive government relationship, ensure uninterrupted operations and obtain necessary key permits/approvals for compliance and expansion purposes.
- Build General Mills corporate reputation among related local government stakeholders
- Manage issues in collaboration with FSQ, Legal and CR functions
- Support in engagement with central government agencies, trade associations
- Support in CSR programs as needed
Qualifications and skills:
- 10 plus years’ experience in government/public affairs discipline with multinational companies
- Practitioner in handling local government affairs with solid track record
- Working experience with (local) government agencies is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of food/FMCG industry is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Good inter-personal skills with mature personality and self-composure, strong sense of ownership, result-driven leadership in cross-functional collaboration
