This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the works are built to achieve the project objectives in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the construction teams to ensure the safe and effective implementation of construction works;
• Overseeing multiple construction sites to ensure the compliance of works with the contract drawings specifications, materials, workmanship and quality;
• Monitoring the work progress against the Works Programme and report directly to the management on site problems;
• Ensuring the consistent preparation and maintenance of site records for safety, quality and resources;
• Driving the contractors on continuous improvement in safety performance and a safe working culture; and uplifting the safety standards to achieve the Authority’s safety goals; and
• Proactively anticipating and resolving all interface and construction problems between different disciplines and adjacent projects including but not limited to the coordination of logistic issues arising throughout all the construction stage

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics or other relevant disciplines with at least 15 years’ experience in site supervision of large scale Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics engineering related multi-discipline projects
• Possess sound knowledge and experience in Mechanical / Electrical / Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Systems works of large scale infrastructure projects
• Knowledge and experience in airport related project works is an advantage
• Good spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and appropriate IT skills
• Holder of a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred
