This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the Authority's medium and long-term development projects are undertaken to the best practice in the airport/specialist systems standards.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring effective and efficient project management for the implementation of airport/specialist systems design & construction works, including overall project planning and monitoring of safety, quality, construction as well as financial aspects of the relevant works;
• Assisting in leading design consultants and construction contractors to ensure the works programme and budget requirements are met;
• Ensuring project requirements are incorporated into detailed design cost, works contract drawings and specifications effectively; and
• Proactively identifying design and construction interface problems, investigating alternatives with designers and contractors and liaising with project stakeholders to provide effective solutions.

Requirements:

• Holder of bachelor degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or other related disciplines with professional qualification from a recognized professional institution and at least 10 years’ relevant experience, of which minimum of 4 years should be in project management
• Non-degree holders having at least 15 years’ relevant experience will also be considered. Professional qualification from a recognized professional institution is preferred
• With sound technical knowledge on the design and implementation of the Security Access Control System, CCTV System, SCADA System, Trunk Mobile Radio System, Structural Cabling System, Public Access System, Apron and Airfield Systems, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Systems, etc.
• Experience in the management of large scale system integration project for systems design, planning, construction and site supervisory works
• Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and project management software tools
