As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the local ABB’s worldwide through day-to-day coverage of internationally distributed cases, in Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to Engineering Manager I, you will ensure close collaboration with the rest of the backend organization in the world and ex-pats during their assignment.

Your responsibilities

• Providing technical support to the local ABB’s worldwide through day-to-day coverage of internationally distributed cases.
• Consolidating the information and offer a related report to customer for RCA & SI
• Ensuring close collaboration with the rest of the backend organization in the world and ex-pats during their assignment
• Collaborating with R&D and Production
• Following up on new product project

Your background

• 5+ years of experience as a diagnostic technician or field support or product/Technical support work
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with hardware Experience with robot application systems is an advantage
• Strong ability to be self-directed and work independently, with strong organization and documentation skills
• Exceptional capacity for managing simultaneous activities and challenges.
• A bachelor’s degree (or above) in mechanics or electronics
• Fluency in English reading, writing, and spoken
• Must have Teamwork spirit
