You will have significant experience in delivering Business Intelligence solutions (Microsoft and Oracle) and of the utilities sector. You will lead delivery of Business Intelligence solutions on our clients in Europe and the Middle East.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the analysis, design and implementation of Business Intelligence solutions for utility clients
- Resolve complex customer issues by advising direction and recommending solutions
- Define detailed solution architectures for utility solutions
- Collaborate with Oracle partner system integrators to deliver client solutions
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years experience in utilities industry (electricity, gas, water)
- 5+ years consulting experience
- Experience of multiple end-to-end projects as a designer / architect
- Fluent in French and English (written and verbal)
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Oracle
• Oracle SQL scripting and tuning skills
• Oracle PL/SQL good programming e.g. fast DML on huge datasets (over billion rows), Parallel processing, Pipelined functions, Oracle Hints
• Nice to have knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
Microsoft
• SSRS SQL Server Reporting Services
- Configuration (ReportServer.config)
- Report Builder
- Visual Basic
- Visual Studio or Shell Scripting
- SQL Server SQL and T-SQL
- RS.exe command line utility
- SQL Server command line scripts
- Nice to have: knowledge on SSIS (SQL Server integration services) packages
Shell Scripting
• Command-Line shell scripting including batch scripts
• .NET Powershell scripting

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
