Senior Planning & Process Manager, Section Head (Job ID: 2652)

Responsibilities

• To plan, organize and control all aspects of the Planning & Process Management Section of the Department.
• To lead and drive process improvement initiatives, manage computer system projects and handle financial reporting.
• To act as the Operational Risk Coordinator by keeping abreast of requirments relating to operational risk management and ensuring overall compliance.
• To conduct regular reviews of operational processes, identify deficiencies in internal control structure, recommend remedial actions and rectification plan as well as monitor the implementation of enhanced compliance controls.
• To assist in preparing budget plans and ongoing budget monitoring.
• To oversee the general administration function of the Department.

Requirements

• University graduate in Business Administration, Finance or related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years’ working experience in retail banking, mortgage lending, or related field, preferably gained from the banking industry, of which at least 5 years at managerial and supervisory level.
• Well-rounded with a solid understanding of banking policies and practices as well as regulatory rules and guidelines.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, risk awareness and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
